More than once I purchased a left handed baseball glove that boasted that it was made with “authentic cowhide”. There was real cowhide involved but it was only on a small section of the glove. The top layer of the glove began peeling after only a few weeks of use. These left handed baseball gloves wound up in the trash in no time at all.
