Caring For English Saddles
By tuckskip on May 24th, 2008
I’m looking after my friend’s horses while he’s out of town next weekend. It seems like a big job and there’s a lot to remember, but it should be a great learning experience for me. I’m already somewhat familiar with handling the horses, and I’ve been spending time there this week learning how to care for them properly. The biggest challenge is remembering how to look after the equipment. For example, the horses’ English saddles need to be kept dry, protected from the elements, and safe from dust. Tomorrow my friend is going to show me how to clean them on the saddle rack. He says it’s easy and I’ll get the hang of it quickly. I’m sure it will be fine…it’s just overwhelming to be bombarded with so much information at once. But, I’m happy to be able to help out!
Pen Pals Are Horse Crazy
By tuckskip on May 23rd, 2008
My daughter, Danielle, is horse crazy. She has been crazy for horses since she could say the word. We live in the western United States and she takes riding lessons from a cowboy who owns Registered Quarter Horses. She has been riding western style for seven years. Her favorite magazine has a feature where you can find pen pals who are also in love with horses. Dani has four horse loving pen pals and she is the only girl who rides western style. The others all ride on english saddles, and judging from the prices of leather, I’ll bet they are used English saddles. The english saddle is more compact than a western saddle.
Cheap skateboarding gear can be purchased from a number
By j18bad on May 1st, 2008
Cheap skateboarding gear can be purchased from a number of different places. Some shops specialize in skateboarding or sports equipment, whilst others will sell a whole range of widely varying products. You might feel more comfortable going to a specialist shop because you can therefore talk to staff who know a thing or two about skateboards and might be into them themselves. However don’t forget to check the prices online too.

By sbmarto97 on April 3rd, 2008
Hit it on the heel and it’s more of a push than a cut, hit it towards the toe and it s a slight pull rather than a draw. Common convention holds that a longer than normal club is typically much harder to control. However, due to the great ball speed and ample forgiveness, I don t feel that the extra length hurt my game that much. Also, the increased ball speed could very well be due to the longer shaft. Either way, it all seems to combine together to work very well in the Ping G10.
Adjust your accordingly
By sbmarto97 on April 2nd, 2008
Adjust your mental game accordingly. Take more club, play the high-percentage shots, avoid disasters. Forget about par. As the Brits know, it changes with the weather. Watch your tempo. The tendency is to swing too fast in the wind and to lose your grip in the rain. Go back to the basics. Focus on making solid contact, even using three-quarter swings. Realize that hanging in there is often enough. Tom Watson and Lee Trevino have thrived on this.
Comparing the G10 to the G2 and G5 drivers
By sbmarto97 on April 1st, 2008
Comparing the G10 to the G2 and G5 drivers, there is little noticeable difference. However, major changes in design and construction have gone into the new G10. A change that has really improved the clubs performance is how they have reallocated the weight distribution. By carefully selecting areas of the crown and using thinner material for their construction Ping engineers were able to distribute more weight lower and further back in the club. These subtle changes have increased the launch angle, reduced spin and raised the MOI. The results are a great looking superior performing golf club.

Legal representation for flyers
By vwlp on March 15th, 2008
Those who fly know the risks. Pilots are keenly aware of the potential for accidents occurring at any time. Because of this, anyone involved in flying should have access to an attorney who specializes in aviation law and legal representation. Finding the right representation is essential since this is a very specialized field.

Golf’s governing bodies, the United States Golf Association and the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews
By sbmarto97 on February 12th, 2008
Golf’s governing bodies, the United States Golf Association and the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, have announced new interpretations of some Rules of Golf, including a decision to allow distance-measuring devices by Local Rule. The decision only applies to devices that measure distance, not wind, gradient or other factors such as the Golf Gps. In the new decision, golf’s governing bodies allow a committee to permit the use of distance-measuring devices by Local Rule. So if such a Local Rule is not in effect, the devices would still be illegal for tournament play.

With a larger budget ($750 and up) you’ll find a good selection of top quality used saddles from both custom saddle makers and from high-end manufacturers such as McCall. This is where you can buy a Porsche with a Toyota budget. It’s much better to ride a quality used saddle than a shiny, but cheap, new saddle. Don’t make that mistake.

By vwlp on February 1st, 2008
I recently tasted my first fresh fish that I caught myself. It was Alaskan salmon and outstanding. When I went to fish for salmon in Alaska I got to be in the clean fresh air of Alaska and have some great tasting fresh fish. I had no idea of the difference in taste.
Airsoft a Great Team Building Game
By tuckskip on January 18th, 2008
My husband has two boys that come over to visit. Once in awhile we like to take them out for some kind of activity. Usually something that will give them some kind of excersise if we can help it. Although I wasn’t so sure it was a good idea, this last time we took them out to play with spring airsoft guns. I soon found out it is a wonderful recreational activity for them. Their dad taught them some gun safety rules and we all had a great time just running around shooting each other. I got pooped early but they had lots of fun. We can’t wait to go out again next time the boys are here.

Out of all the money that I have spent on golf equipment, the best purchase I’ve made was when I purchased my SG4 from SkyCaddie. It is easily the most useful gadget any golfer can own. They are easy to use and it gives you instant readings of accurate yardage.
