Have you ever been standing in the middle of

By sbmarto97 on April 26th, 2008

Have you ever been standing in the middle of the fairway getting ready to hit your approach shot with the flag on the back tier of a huge green? You know that to the middle of the green its about 155 yards; but this green is huge and you aren’t sure if you need 1 or 2 more clubs because of a slight breeze in your face. You could (if you had) look at the yardage on your Golf GPS; it provide distance to the front, center and the back of every green.

What do you think would be the fastest way

By sbmarto97 on April 21st, 2008

What do you think would be the fastest way to start shaving strokes off your golf scores? Well for me it was knowing exactly how far I could hit each of the golf clubs in my bag. There are a couple of ways that you can go about learning this. The first is of course the old fashion way of hitting tons of golf balls. The way I did it was with my Sky Caddie from Sky Golf.

Responsibility on Guns and Handgun Safes

By mlongley on April 7th, 2008

Have something to look forward to aside from watching a favorite sport on T.V. The feeling of being responsible could be what gun lovers like about keeping and maintaining them. Also, the responsibility of keeping it safe from curious hands should always be observed. Handgun safes do just that and it’s also one of the reasons why gun lovers should keep an eye on their firearms at all times. Being responsible is bigger than just sitting in front of the television and it keeps you on your toes.

Hit it on the heel and it’s more of

By sbmarto97 on April 3rd, 2008

Hit it on the heel and it’s more of a push than a cut, hit it towards the toe and it s a slight pull rather than a draw. Common convention holds that a longer than normal club is typically much harder to control. However, due to the great ball speed and ample forgiveness, I don t feel that the extra length hurt my game that much. Also, the increased ball speed could very well be due to the longer shaft. Either way, it all seems to combine together to work very well in the Ping G10.

Adjust your accordingly

By sbmarto97 on April 2nd, 2008

Adjust your mental game accordingly. Take more club, play the high-percentage shots, avoid disasters. Forget about par. As the Brits know, it changes with the weather. Watch your tempo. The tendency is to swing too fast in the wind and to lose your grip in the rain. Go back to the basics. Focus on making solid contact, even using three-quarter swings. Realize that hanging in there is often enough. Tom Watson and Lee Trevino have thrived on this.

Comparing the G10 to the G2 and G5 drivers

By sbmarto97 on April 1st, 2008

Comparing the G10 to the G2 and G5 drivers, there is little noticeable difference. However, major changes in design and construction have gone into the new G10. A change that has really improved the clubs performance is how they have reallocated the weight distribution. By carefully selecting areas of the crown and using thinner material for their construction Ping engineers were able to distribute more weight lower and further back in the club. These subtle changes have increased the launch angle, reduced spin and raised the MOI. The results are a great looking superior performing golf club.

Themed sports parties

By vwlp on March 27th, 2008

Fans love their favorite teams no matter what the sport. When planning a party, basing it on a sports team can be a lot of fun. Besides the usual sports-themed hanging paper decorations and decorated cake, party favors for a given team could also be given out at the party. Unusual party favors like flashing body lights (those flashing pins for NFL teams, for example) would make a one-of-a-kind party favor that could be used later at games, meets, matches, or the like.

Sports and Buds Gun Shop Bottom Line

By mlongley on March 25th, 2008

Like sports, guns and gun accessories have their own uniqueness and value. Handling these objects require extra care and the knowledge to really experience it. And the bottom line of the two is that if you want to continue to be involved in it, you have to set aside the time so you can focus on the things that will be helpful in increasing your skill. Otherwise, for gun-related matters, you can consult buds gun shop for example, a quality gun shop or; if its sports-related, then go and consult your coach.

Golf’s governing bodies, the United States Golf Association and the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews

By sbmarto97 on February 12th, 2008

Golf’s governing bodies, the United States Golf Association and the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, have announced new interpretations of some Rules of Golf, including a decision to allow distance-measuring devices by Local Rule. The decision only applies to devices that measure distance, not wind, gradient or other factors such as the Golf Gps. In the new decision, golf’s governing bodies allow a committee to permit the use of distance-measuring devices by Local Rule. So if such a Local Rule is not in effect, the devices would still be illegal for tournament play.

Out of all the money that I have spent on golf equipment

By sbmarto97 on January 8th, 2008

Out of all the money that I have spent on golf equipment, the best purchase I’ve made was when I purchased my SG4 from SkyCaddie. It is easily the most useful gadget any golfer can own. They are easy to use and it gives you instant readings of accurate yardage.

What is the Longest Drive you have ever hit

By sbmarto97 on January 6th, 2008

What’s the longest drive you have ever hit? How did you determine the distance the ball traveled? Do you know how far you drive the ball on average? The Golf GPS will figure these things out for you, along with the obvious task of providing you with accurate yardage to the hole for all over the golf course.

Have you made any conscious attempts to reduce your experience of nerves in your game?

By sbmarto97 on October 8th, 2007

What have been your results? Did they work and if so was it immediate? Or did you, like most every Golfer alive, simply fill your head full of self talk saying things like, “ok, calm down. Just breathe…there’s nothing to be nervous about…hey, maybe he’ll miss his putt….yeah…miss-miss-miss!”

Left Handed Baseball Gloves In The Marketplace

By bookmaster456 on July 20th, 2007

More than once I purchased a left handed baseball glove that boasted that it was made with “authentic cowhide”. There was real cowhide involved but it was only on a small section of the glove. The top layer of the glove began peeling after only a few weeks of use. These left handed baseball gloves wound up in the trash in no time at all.
